What this application is
Claude MCP is a private, single-user application. It runs locally on its developer’s own computer and is used solely by its developer to access his own Google account data. It is not offered as a service, is not distributed, and has no users other than its developer.
What data it accesses
When authorised, the application accesses Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Sheets data belonging to the Google account that granted the authorisation. It reads and, where the user directs it to, modifies files in that account.
What data is collected or stored
No personal data is collected, retained or transmitted to any third party. The application has no server component and no database. OAuth tokens issued by Google are stored only on the developer’s own computer, in a directory readable only by his user account, and are used solely to re-authenticate to Google.
Data sharing
No data is sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party. File content is processed only in the course of carrying out the instruction the developer has given, and is not retained by the application afterwards.
Data retention and deletion
Access can be withdrawn at any time by revoking the application at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the stored token files from the computer removes all locally held credentials.
Compliance
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
